Chippenham will soon have a new multi-purpose venue that will support the town's music and creative scene.

The Ruze will serve as both a live music venue and a creative hub, offering local musicians a space to perform live and produce new material and is expected to open by later summer 2025.

 Alongside live music events and a recording studio, the venue plans to host corporate events, community workshops, weddings, and Christmas parties, catering to both residents and businesses in the town.

The building will utilise sustainable energy sources such as air-to-air heat pumps and solar panels, as well as retaining the existing walls and floor slabs of the original structure to minimise the carbon emissions of the build itself. Along with this, the centre’s location proves accessible with its proximity to the train station and several main bus routes, overall providing a space that is both adaptable, technologically advanced and environmentally mindful.
